In ancient Greece, oak groves were sacred to Zeus, the god of wisdom, while Celtic Druids saw the oak as a source of spiritual insight and connection. Like the oak, we believe in learning that is grounded, resilient, and expansive — with roots in truth and branches that reach toward potential.

El Brown (Founder)

Meet El Brown: Expert Educator, Coach & SEN Specialist 

With over three decades of educational experience, El Brown brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and insight to her work as a tutor, coach, and trainer. Her career began in the classroom. During her career journey, she developed and led outstanding English programmes as Head of Department at a top independent school, inspiring generations of learners and supporting both high-achieving and additional learning needs students with equal care and dedication.

As Head of Pastoral Care, El played a vital role in student welfare and safeguarding, leading teams, mentoring staff, and managing complex wellbeing and behavioural systems with integrity and warmth. Her expertise in counselling support, safeguarding, and academic mentoring makes her uniquely equipped to guide both learners and educators alike.

Now, El offers tailored English tutoring, student coaching, and specialist support for children and young people with Special Educational Needs. She also provides high-impact staff training in areas such as effective communication, tutoring, safeguarding, inclusive teaching, and pastoral leadership.
