Celebrating National Winnie the Pooh Day at OakWell Education

On the 18th January, National Winnie-the-Pooh Day gives us a reason to celebrate a bear with very little brain and a very big heart. At OakWell Education, there is one very Winnie the Pooh-obsessed human behind the scenes, and honestly, that explains a lot.

Winnie the Pooh is not just a childhood favourite. He is a reminder that kindness is clever, that slowing down is sometimes the smartest thing you can do, and that being yourself is more than enough. The Hundred Acre Wood works because everyone is different. Tigger is loud, bouncy, and full of confidence. Piglet is nervous but loyal and surprisingly brave. Eeyore is quiet, thoughtful, and sees the world in a more serious way. Rabbit is organised and likes things done properly. Owl loves talking and sharing what he knows, even if he gets a bit mixed up sometimes. Kanga is caring and steady, and Roo is curious and ready to try anything. Together, they show that there is no single 'right' way to be.
